ArcelorMittal to recommission BF at Eisenhüttenstadt after repairs

Luxembourg-headquartered global steelmaker ArcelorMittal has announced that it has begun blast furnace repair works at its Eisenhüttenstadt plant in Germany, which are being carried out between June 24 and June 29.

Within the scope of the repair works, the company has stopped production and decommissioned the furnace. The furnace in question is scheduled to be restarted on June 28.
