Argentina’s crude steel production up 12 percent in July

Argentina’s crude steel production in July this year increased by 7.2 percent month on month, to 398,800 mt, up 12 percent compared to July last year, the country's steel chamber (CAA) has stated.  In the January-July period, crude steel production in Argentina totaled 2.52 million mt, up 4.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

Argentina's hot rolled finished steel production in July increased by 6.9 percent month on month and was up 29.7 percent year on year to 426,000 mt, while its cold rolled flat steel production in the given month rose by 27.7 percent month on month and grew by 4.6 percent year on year to 132,200 mt.
