The Ukrainian steelmaker Azovstal, a subsidiary of the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producing company Metinvest Holding, has announced that it has completed the scheduled overhaul of the rolling mill 3600 at its plate workshop.

The overhaul, amounting to a cost of about UAH 20 million (approx. $2.6 million) and including the repair of the rolling mill's main equipment, will allow Azovstal to reduce the number of unscheduled downtimes and will enable the rolling mill 3600 to produce 1.7 million of steel products per year.

The repair of the rolling mill was also directed towards increasing the quality of manufactured products.
