BHP Billion partners with ABB to support decarbonization efforts

Australian miner BHP Billiton has announced its collaboration with Switzerland-based energy and automation technology provider ABB on several areas including decarbonization of its global operations.

Accordingly, under the agreement, the two companies will work on advancing BHP’s project delivery, operations and maintenance as well as supporting its net zero target by 2050. Also, the agreement has the potential to allow BHP to see a more sustainable growth in its iron ore operations.
