Brazil extends AD investigation over Chinese flat steel bars

Brazil's foreign trade secretariat, Secex, extended for eight more months an ongoing anti-dumping (AD) investigation over the Chinese imports of flat steel bars, it said this week.
 
According to a filing at the nation’s official gazette, Diario Oficial, the eight-month extension to the investigation will be counted from October 21, 2016. The product currently being investigated falls under the 7228.30.00 HS code.
 
Secex initiated an AD investigation over the imports of the product in December 18, 2015.
