CAAM: China’s auto exports down 8.7 percent in January-October

In October this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 62,000 units, up 3.4 percent month on month, while increasing by 15 percent year on year, including 44,000 passenger vehicles and 18,000 commercial vehicles, up 4.3 percent and increasing by 1.3 percent month on month, while up 31.0 percent and down 11.2 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
 
In the January-October period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 555,000 units, down 8.7 percent year on year, including 364,000 passenger vehicles and 191,000 commercial vehicles, up 2.1 percent and down 23.9 percent year on year, respectively.
