In May this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 93,000 units, down 1.0 percent month on month, while increasing by 32.9 percent year on year, including 70,000 passenger vehicles and 24,000 commercial vehicles, up 51.7 percent and down 2.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-May period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 412,000 units, rising by 30.9 percent year on year, including 303,000 passenger vehicles and 109,000 commercial vehicles, increasing by 38.6 percent and 13.4 percent year on year, respectively.
