CAAM: China’s auto exports up 24.6 percent in January-August

In August this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 74,000 units, up 6.7 percent month on month, while increasing by 17.0 percent year on year, including 53,000 passenger vehicles and 21,000 commercial vehicles, up 23.0 percent and 4.3 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-August period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 539,000 units, rising by 24.6 percent year on year, including 373,000 passenger vehicles and 166,000 commercial vehicles, up 34.2 percent and 7.3 percent year on year, respectively.
