CAAM: China’s auto exports rise by 28 percent in March

In March this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 90,000 units, up 60.7 percent month on month, while increasing by 28.0 percent year on year, including 67,000 passenger vehicles and 23,000 commercial vehicles, up 65.8 percent and 47.2 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-March period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 225,000 units, rising by 26.1 percent year on year, including 167,000 passenger vehicles and 58,000 commercial vehicles, increasing by 30.9 percent and 13.9 percent year on year, respectively.
