CAAM: China’s auto sales to increase by seven percent in 2015

In his presentation at the 11th Steel Development Strategy and Supply/Demand Conference held at Shanghai, Shi Jianhua, deputy secretary general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), stated that China's auto sales will amount to 25.13 million units in the current year, up seven percent, including 21.25 million passengers cars and 3.88 million commercial vehicles, up eight percent and 2.4 percent, respectively, year on year.

He also predicted that China's auto export volume will this year total 860,000 units, down five percent year on year.
