In separate announcements Thursday, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal requested that five companies complete and certify an Importers’ Questionnaire in service of the CITT’s ongoing inquiry into applying steel import safeguards.

The companies include Pro-Rod Inc., an importer of wire rod goods; Moore Sales Co. Ltd, an importer of pre-painted steel goods; K+S Potash Canada, an importer of energy tubular goods; F&P Mfg. Inc., an importer of stainless steel wire goods; and Cheminées Sécurité, an importer of stainless steel wire goods.

All five companies were supposed to respond to the CITT’s inquiry by Oct. 31, 2018, and last received a request from the CITT on Nov. 6.
