China Steel Corporation sees sales revenues of over $8 billion in 2010

On February 23, Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) announced that in 2010 the sales revenues of the company amounted to NTD 239.187 billion ($8.04 billion) - up 44.6 percent year on year, its net profit totaled NTD 37.587 billion ($1.26 billion) - up 92 percent year on year, while it recorded earnings per share of NTD 2.83 ($0.095).
 
The company also said the dividend per share for 2010 was NTD 2.49 ($0.083), with a stock dividend of NTD 0.5 ($0.017) and a cash dividend of NTD1.99 ($0.067).
 
CSC's carbon steel products include steel plate, bars, wire rod, hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil and hot dip galvanized, while its stainless steel production consists mainly of hot rolled flat steel products.
