China's coal shipments by railway totaled 193 million mt in Sept

According to a statement by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) released on October 17, in September this year, China's coal shipments by railway totaled 193 million mt, up 17.58 million mt or 10 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January-September period, China's rail shipments of coal amounted to 1.709 billion mt, up 23.73 million mt or 1.4 percent year on year.

As one of the most important coal transportation line in China, in the January-September period, the coal shipments by railway of the Datong-Qinhuangdao Line totaled 332 million mt, up 5.8 percent year on year.
