China’s finished steel exports up 2.4 percent in January-September

In September this year, China exported 8.80 million mt of finished steel, down 2.33 percent month on month and decreasing by 21.78 percent year on year, while the finished steel export volume in the January-September period of the current year totaled 85.12 million mt, up 2.4 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on October 13.

In September of the current year, China exported 620,000 mt of metallurgical coke, down 41.2 percent month on month and decreasing by 7.46 percent year on year. In the January-September period, China’s coke exports totaled 7.50 million mt, increasing by 13.9 percent year on year.
