China’s finished steel exports up nine percent in H1

In June this year, China exported 10.94 million mt of finished steel, up 16.14 percent month on month and increasing by 23.1 percent year on year, while the finished steel export volume in the first half of the current year totaled 57.12 million mt, up 9.0 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on July 13.

 

In June this year, China exported 760,000 mt of metallurgical coke, up 190,000 mt or 33.3 percent month on month and increasing by 52 percent year on year. In the first half of the current year, China’s coke exports totaled 4.75 million mt, increasing by 1.7 percent year on year.
