China’s overall rail freight volume down 9.43 percent in Q1

China Railway Corporation has announced that in the first quarter of the current year the freight volume transported on China’s railways amounted to 788 million mt, down 9.43 percent year on year.

In the first quarter of the current year, the passenger volume on China’s railways amounted to 668 million, up 13.7 percent year on year.
