China's steel exports down in Nov from Oct, up 22.6% in Jan-Nov

In November this year, China’s finished steel exports amounted to 9.278 million mt, down 17.0 percent month on month and rising by 15.8 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

In the January-November period this year, China’s finished steel exports rose by 22.6 percent year on year to 101.152 million mt. The pace of the increase was 0.7 percentage points slower compared to that recorded in the first ten months of the year, which was 23.3 percent.

China’s finished steel imports totaled 473,000 mt in November, down 11.8 percent month on month and declining by 22.5 percent year on year. In the first 11 months of the current year, China imported 6.194 million mt of finished steel, declining by 11.3 percent year on year.
