EU extends AD duties on rebar from Belarus

Thursday, 01 June 2023 11:47:33 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

The European Commission has announced that it has extended the antidumping duty on imports of rebar from Belarus for a period of five years, following an expiry review.

The request for a review was lodged on March 16, 2021, by the European Steel Association (EUROFER) based on the grounds that the expiry of the measures would likely result in a continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the EU industry.

The antidumping duty will remain at 10.6 percent for the country.

The products subject to antidumping duties currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7214 10 00 10, 7214 20 00 20, 7214 30 00 10, 7214 91 10 10, 7214 91 90 10, 7214 99 10 10, and 7214 99 95 10.
