Evraz’s rolling mill in Kazakhstan still under construction

The construction works on Russia-based steelmaker Evraz's Kostanay rolling mill located in Kazakhstan is continuing according to Kazakh media sources.

Approximately 30 percent of the construction has already been completed. The plant with an annual production capacity of 450,000 mt of rebar is expected to be launched in mid-2013. EVRAZ's Siberian plants ZSMK and NKMK will supply billets for the Kostanaya rolling mill. The total investment in the project is expected to be approximately $131 million.
