France's steel product export value down 10.07 percent in January

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January this France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €674.4 million, falling by 10.07 percent year on year.
 
During the month in question, France exported €146.9 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 0.6 percent, €47.8 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 17.04 percent, €28.9 million of cold drawn wire - down by 2.8 percent, €25.5 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 11.2 percent, and €41.7 million of metal structures and parts - down by 30.4 percent, all compared to the same month of last year.
