France's steel product export value down 13.8 percent in Jan-Mar

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-March period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €2.08 billion, falling by 13.8 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €467.5 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 7.3 percent, €138.8 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 9.8 percent, €91.5 million of cold drawn wire - down by four percent, €80.9 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 5.7 percent, and €154.6 million of metal structures and parts - down by 12.6 percent, all compared to the same period of 2015.
