France's steel product import value down 7.4 percent in Jan-Nov

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-November period of 2016 France's basic steel product and ferroalloy imports amounted to a value of €6.72 billion, decreasing by 7.4 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France imported €1.4 billion of steel pipes and tubes - down 25.2 percent, €472.54 million of cold rolled steel strip - falling by 3.3 percent, €313.05 million of cold drawn wire - dropping  by 3.5 percent, €304.46 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 10.6 percent, and €1.35 billion of metal structures and parts - increasing by 5.1 percent, all compared to the January-November period of 2015.
