Freight volumes at China’s large ports up 2.2 percent in January-May

In the January-May period of the current year, freight volumes handled at large ports in China totaled 4.789 billion mt, up 2.2 percent year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
 
In the given period, the overall passenger volume transported at large ports in China amounted to 36.06 million, down 2.1 percent year on year.
