Freight volumes on China’s roads total 2.60 billion mt in January

In January this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 2.60 billion mt, up three percent compared to the same month of 2014, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese roads totaled 480.16 billion mt-km, rising by 2.7 percent year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
