Freight volumes on China’s roads up 1.3 percent in January-February

China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT) has announced that in the January-February period of this year the overall freight volume transported on China’s railways, roads and waterways totaled 5.47 billion mt, up 0.7 percent year on year.
 
In particular, in the January-February period of the current year, respective year-on-year increases of 1.3 percent and 5.6 percent were recorded in the overall freight volumes transported on China’s roads and waterways.
