Freight volumes on China’s roads up 4.9 percent in January-September

In the January-September period of the current year, the overall freight volume transported on China's roads amounted to 24.0436 billion mt, increasing by 4.9 percent, while the freight traffic volume on the country's roads totaled 4.369 trillion mt-km, up 4.2 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China's Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
