Hyundai Hysco sees slight decrease in cold rolled steel sales in August

South Korean steel and auto parts producer Hyundai Hysco announced that its cold rolled steel sales slightly decreased month on month in August, but generally stood at a good level.

Hyundai Hysco's cold rolled steel sales reached 345,000 mt in August, down 10.3 percent month on month, including 238,000 mt domestic sales, down 10.3 percent month on month, marking the lowest level since February of 190,000 mt. Export sales decreased to 107,000 mt, down 10.2 percent month on month.

In July,, the sales also reached 380,000 mt, the highest level in its history. Sales are expected to follow a good path also in September
