Japanese auto output down 4.1 percent in July

According to the data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), in July this year Japanese automobile production (including passenger cars, trucks and buses) totaled 807,165 units, falling by 34,647 units or 4.1 percent compared to the same month of 2015.
 
Domestic automobile sales in July of the current year in Japan stood at 415,605 vehicles, down 2.2 percent as compared with the same month last year. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in July amounted to 413,619 units, down by 2,116 units or 0.5 percent year on year.
