In the January-February period of the current year, total logistics costs in China amounted to RMB 1.5 trillion ($0.23 trillion), up 1.5 percent year on year, with this growth rate 4.4 percentage points lower than that recorded in the same period last year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
In particular, in the January-February period this year, China’s transportation costs, storage costs and managements costs amounted to RMB 0.7 trillion ($108.19 billion), RMB 0.5 trillion ($77.28 billion) and RMB 0.2 trillion ($30.91 billion), indicating increases of 0.6 percent, 1.7 percent and 4.1 percent year on year, respectively.
