MOC: Average steel prices in China edge up during May 30-Jun 5

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the May 30-June 5 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.

In the given period, the average prices of welded steel pipe, rebar and high-speed wire rod moved up by 1.2 percent, 1.1 percent and 1.0 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the same period, the average price of thermal coal decreased by 0.4 percent, while the average price of coking coal edged up by 0.3 percent, week on week.
