MOC: Average steel prices in China edge up slightly last week

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during April 18-24 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.

In the given period, the average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar and welded steel pipe rose by 0.8 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the same period, the average prices of thermal coal and coking coal decreased by 1.8 percent and rose by 1.0 percent, respectively, week on week.
