Finnish mining and metal manufacturing equipment provider Outotec has issued its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2015.
In the fourth quarter, Outotec reported an operating loss of €30.6 million, compared to an operating profit of €2.3 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's sales revenues decreased by 24 percent year on year to €305.7 million. Meanwhile, Outotec's order intake was €267.2 million in the given quarter, down 17 percent year on year.
In 2015, Outotec reported an operating loss of €12.3 million, compared to an operating profit of €10.4 million in the previous year. The company's sales revenues decreased by 14.3 percent year on year to €1.2 billion, due to customers’ fewer investment projects and slower progress in them. Meanwhile, Outotec's order intake was €1.19 billion in the given year, up one percent year on year.
For 2016, the company expects approximately €1-1.2 billion net sales and its EBITDA margin to be approximately 2-5 percent.
