Romania’s ArcelorMittal Galati may shut down one blast furnace

According to unconfirmed reports, ArcelorMittal Galati, Romania-based subsidiary of the world's largest integrated metals and mining company ArcelorMittal, is starting maintenance work at one of its blast furnaces due to certain technical issues. Production at the blast furnace is expected to resume in June-July, the reports state.
 
When reached by SteelOrbis, ArcelorMittal declined to comment on the impact on supply to the market.
