Russian coal exports up 11.6 percent in Jan-July

In the January-July period of the current year, Russian coal exports increased by 11.6 percent year on year to 81.09 million mt, including 12.6 million of coking coal, up 75 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat).

In the given period, Russia produced 199.8 million mt of coal, up 1.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
