Taiwan’s basic metal export orders decrease 5.5 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in February this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $1.95 billion, up by 7.1 percent compared to February last year and decreasing by 2.5 percent compared to the previous month. In January, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded a 6.4 percent decrease month on month.

In the January-February period of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders fell by 5.5 percent year on year to $3.95 billion.
