According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in November this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.39 billion, down by 5.9 percent compared to November last year and decreasing by 2.7 percent compared to the previous month. In October, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded a 3.9 percent increase month on month.
In the January-November period of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders rose by 10 percent year on year to $27.32 billion.
