Taiwan’s CSC posts lower revenues for October

Taiwan’s largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in October this year its carbon steel sales volume totaled 834,360 mt, remaining almost stable compared to September, accounting for 72 percent of domestic sales.

In October, CSC’s operating revenues amounted to NTD 27.68 billion ($907.35 million), falling by 4.3 percent compared to September. In the given month, the company’s operating income totaled NTD 709 million ($23.24 million), increasing by 18.8 percent from the previous month.
