Taiwan’s CSC reports higher operating revenues and lower income for January

Taiwan’s largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in January this year its carbon steel sales volume totaled 674,899 mt.

In the given month, CSC’s operating revenues amounted to NTD 31.93 billion ($1 billion), up by 8.3 percent month on month and by 26.6 percent year on year, while its operating income totaled NTD 129.29 million ($4.08 million), compared to a NTD 894.87 million income recorded in the previous month and to a NTD 1.03 billion income in January 2023.
