Taiyuan Stainless Steel Industrial Park’s operating revenue up 296% in 2011

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Taiyuan Steel or TISCO) has announced that in 2011 the total operating revenue of Shanxi-based Taiyuan Stainless Steel Industrial Park saw a 296 percent year-on-year increase.
 
Taiyuan Stainless Steel Industrial Park focuses on production of stainless steel tubes and pipe fittings, high quality stainless steel dinner sets, stainless steel composite panels, among other products. 
 
In 2011, the industrial park developed 12 new stainless steel products. Enterprises in the industrial park produced 132,000 mt of stainless steel products in 2011, while they booked orders worth RMB 8 million ($1.27 million) in the given year. It is expected that by 2015 the annual capacity of stainless steel products of the industrial park will reach 800,000 mt.
