Terni, Italy-based stainless steel producer ThyssenKrupp Acciai Speciali Terni, a subsidiary of German steel producer ThyssenKrupp, has announced that it produced 355,000 mt of crude steel in the second quarter of the current year, exceeding its targeted output for the period by 5,000 mt.

In detail, ThyssenKrupp Acciai Speciali Terni's crude steel output totaled 100,000 mt in April, reaching 122,000 mt in May and 123,000 mt in June. The monthly output level recorded in June has rarely been reached in the past. The production results were announced by the company's CEO Marco Pucci, who stressed that the Terni-based stainless steel producer achieved its strong output figures despite the downtrend of industrial activity both in Italy and in Europe.
