US DOC initiates administrative reviews of AD, CVD orders with June anniversary date

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Wednesday the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a June anniversary date.

The DOC has initiated administrative reviews for the following AD orders involving steel and related products.
  • Large diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line and pressure pipe from Japan (A-588-850) -- JFE Steel Corporation; Nippon Steel Corporation; NKK Tubes; and Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd.
  • Hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from Japan (A-588-846) -- Nippon Steel Corporation
  • Stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Taiwan (A-583-816) -- Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Co. Ltd.
These administrative reviews cover the period from June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009.

There were no initiations of any administrative reviews of CVD orders involving steel products.
