US ITC announces determinations for welded stainless steel pressure pipe from India

Tuesday, 25 October 2016 23:19:35 (GMT+3)   |   San Diego

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) today determined that a US industry is materially injured by reason of imports of welded stainless steel pressure pipe from India that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined are subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value.

Chairman Irving A. Williamson, Vice Chairman David S. Johanson, and Commissioners Dean A. Pinkert, Meredith M. Broadbent, Scott F. Kieff, and Rhonda K. Schmidtlein all voted in the affirmative.

As a result of the USITC’s affirmative determinations, Commerce will issue antidumping and countervailing duty orders on imports of these products from India.
