The US International Trade Commission (USITC) determined Wednesday that revoking the existing antidumping duty orders on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy, Malaysia, and the Philippines would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
As a result of the ITC's affirmative determinations, the existing orders on imports of these products from these countries will remain in place. All six commissioners voted in the affirmative.
The butt-weld fittings subject to the orders are currently classifiable under subheading 7307.23.0000 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
