Notable rebar, wire rod, billet, HDG and plate shipments into the US, June 20-26

Rebar:

  • Two shipments totaling 3,153 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on June 24 from Mediterranean region ports, Turkey.
Wire Rod:
  • Two shipments totaling 1,410 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on June 22 from the Port of Santander, Spain.
  • Five shipments totaling 6,853 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on June 24 from Chinese ports.
  • 5,013 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Jacksonville, Florida on June 24 from the Port of Zhanjiang, China.
Billet:
  • 3,127 metric tons of steel billet arrived into the Port of Charleston, South Carolina on June 20 from the Port of Veracruz, Mexico.
HDG:
  • Four shipments totaling 1,189 metric tons of HDG coil arrived into the Port of Savannah, Georgia on June 22 from West Coast Indian ports.
Plate:
  • 3,809 metric tons of steel plate arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on June 22 from the Port of Monfalcone, Italy.
  • Six shipments totaling 1,027 metric tons of steel plate arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on June 24 from the Port of Antwerp, Belgium.
