CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $820/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, according to sources.

In April, Brazil exported 19,000 mt of CRC, in average at $885/mt, and imported 22,300 mt at $679/mt, both FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is also stable at BRL 6,650/mt ($1,273/mt), ex-works, full taxes except IPI.

The stability reflects a cautious attitude of the players, waiting for the impact of the recent measures adopted by the government, including quotas and higher import tax for steel products.
