Ex-China rebar and wire rod offers to Southeast Asia - week 41

SteelOrbis has learned that the prices of Chinese origin 18 mm HRB 335 boron-added rebar for Southeast Asia are now at $525/mt FOB, including 13 percent export tax rebate, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for mid-October shipment. The offers have increased by $5/mt over the past two weeks.
 
Meanwhile, the prices of Chinese origin 6.5 mm low carbon boron-added wire rod for Southeast Asia have also moved up by $5/mt over the same period and are now at $530/mt CFR, including 17 percent VAT, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for mid-October shipment.
