Turkey’s Kardemir issues its merchant bar prices

Earlier today, March 12, Turkish mill Kardemir decreased its merchant bar prices by $10-20/mt amid weaker scrap prices and the ongoing currency fluctuations, as compared to its previous price list issued on Wednesday, February 14. Sources report that the mill has succeeded in selling around 32,000 mt of merchant bar, though the final tonnage has not been confirmed by the time of publication. The list prices are shown below.
