Turkey’s Kardemir issues its rebar price as February begins

Today, February 1, Turkey’s Kardemir has issued its rebar price at TRY 19,165/mt ($631/mt), excluding VAT. The mill’s rebar price has indicated a TRY 465/mt ($6/mt) rise as compared to Wednesday, January 10.

Kardemir’s rebar price is close to the lower end of the official rebar price range in the Marmara and Izmir regions, which has varied at $625-645/mt ex-works, including Icdas A.S.

The mill is selling its rebar at yesterday’s Turkish Central Bank-based exchange rate of $1 = TRY 30.35.
