Allegheny Technologies raising prices

Allegheny Technologies Inc. announced Friday that ATI Allegheny Ludlum will increase prices for most cold and hot rolled stainless steel sheet and strip products, continuous mill plate products, and duplex alloys. Effective May 1, the company will increase base prices for hot and cold rolled products by six percent, and stainless steel and continuous mill plate products by nine percent. Prices for the company's lean duplex alloy and duplex alloy sheet, strip and plate products will also go up by six percent.
