Baotou Steel commissions 159 mm seamless pipe production line

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Steel has commissioned its new 159 mm continuous casting seamless pipe production line after two years spent on design work and construction, as announced by Inner Mongolia-based BERIS Engineering and Research Corporation which was involved in construction of the project.
 
The annual capacity of the project will reach 400,000 mt, while diameter and wall thickness will be in ranges of 38-168.3 mm and 2.9-25 mm respectively
